Staff Profile

Hi! I’m Deandre Crowell. I am happy to say that I’ve spent nearly twenty years shaping young minds and challenging them to be the best version of themselves. After graduating from Alabama State University with a degree in Communications, I began my career as an educator in the classroom where I taught TV Production for ten years. My passion for teaching and fostering young minds grew each year once I started teaching. I believe that every student can be whatever they desire to be. Before students can achieve their goals, they must first believe in themselves.

It was during that time, I noticed a different way that I could reach and help the children. I enrolled in Alabama State University and received my Masters degree in school counseling so I could help guide my students on a path to make better decisions now and the future. When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, fishing and spending time with my beautiful daughters. The students here in Lowndes County have a warm place in my heart and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.
