Wilson Elementary School

Wilson Wildcats and families, 

My name is Morgan Cole and I am the new principal at Wilson Elementary. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I have been teaching for over nine years in multiple locations and grade levels and have earned my master’s degree in educational leadership. Most recently, I taught mathematics while carrying out the responsibilities of an administrative intern at Clarke N Johnsen Jr. High School and Willow Elementary. 

I am thrilled that I get to be back in the Logan School District to work with the incredible community of Wilson Elementary. I know the staff is dedicated to the success of every child in our school. I have been impressed with the selfless commitment I have seen from our teachers  to make sure that every student is being represented and getting the education and support that they need to succeed as well as the staff members who put their heart into the work that they do. I have already witnessed countless actions that show the pride and devotion necessary to create a positive learning environment from all members of the Wilson community. I cannot wait to get to know you, your children and your families. 

I am dedicated to making sure that every student has a successful educational journey that allows them to find success academically, but also supports them in becoming a quality citizen. The best way to do this is for the entire Wilson community to work together to create a space where students can be safe and thrive. Together we can make a difference! 

There are a few things that are important to know about Wilson Elementary. It is a Title I school which means that we receive extra funding to help our students in reading, writing and math. As a parent in a Title I school you have the opportunity to give input through the Community Council or directly to me regarding any Title I services. 

Our PTA and Community Council welcome comments and participation. You can call the office for contact information. I would encourage you to consider joining the PTA. They do a lot for our students as well as the faculty.
