Mount Logan Middle School

Greetings Mount Logan Middle School students and families! I am excited at the opportunity to be the principal at our amazing middle school. How do I know it is amazing? I have had the pleasure of working with the students and families of Logan City School District for the past 16 years. During my time as an educator in LCSD I have taught at Woodruff Elementary and been principal at both Woodruff Elementary and Hillcrest Elementary. Additionally, my own children attended Bridger Elementary. I have been involved in district and community events with members of our district community throughout my career and something that I have found is that our Logan City School District families, teachers, administrators and students continually inspire me. As I have rubbed shoulders with the faculty and staff and MLMS, I have found them to be incredibly dedicated and responsive to student needs. During some of my early visits to the school, I was able to talk with students during their lunch period and found them to be very engaged with school and open with me about their aspirations and goals. As I have met with the parents of our school, I couldn't ask for more thoughtful and caring individuals to have on the side of our students. I look forward to working closely with Assistant Principals Hutchinson and Taggert as we help all of our Mountaineers climb to even higher heights! I hope that when you have questions, concerns and celebrations that you will communicate those to me and others at our school throughout the year.
