Dear Harrison Families,
I hope this email finds everyone excited for the holiday coming very soon. The next two days will be full of fun, and we hope our entire school community enjoys them.
To kick off the week, tomorrow, Monday, December 22, we will Dress for the Holidays. Students are encouraged to wear festive colors or holiday attire.
On Tuesday, December 23, we will gather as a school community for our New Year’s Countdown assembly. During this celebration, students will sing winter songs, dance together, and enjoy a special edition of Hawk Talk. On this day, we are asking all children to dress to impress or in Shiny New Year's attire! Feel free to wear Holiday Attire as well!
A heartfelt thank you to our PTA for providing every student with a special item to take home after using it during the assembly. The episode will be posted on Tuesday for the entire community to enjoy. It is truly wonderful to see our students contribute each week, and we are very grateful to the dedicated team of teachers who bring it to life. While it is no easy task, the joy it brings our students makes it incredibly worthwhile.
We would also like to extend a big thank you to our parent volunteers who helped us celebrate the winter holidays. Families decorated the front entryway and the faculty room, helping both students and staff feel the excitement of the season. They also provided food for all staff on Friday. Please continue sending holiday cards, as we are creating a beautiful display representing our school families in front of the building. These cards will remain on display through January.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping make our school such a special community. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday break!
