Dear Harrison Families,

Thank you to all the families and PTA who organized and supported our Holiday Boutique! It was a very successful sale, and it was great to see all the kids thoughtfully considering what presents to get for their family members. 

Thank you for joining us in our Digital Citizenship series! Each week, we’re highlighting a new topic to help families and schools work together in supporting responsible and balanced technology use. This week, we’re focusing on how to choose high-quality content for your child. From TV shows to games and apps, the options are endless—so knowing what to look for can make decision-making much easier. Click here to watch this week’s video! After viewing, we encourage you to chat with your child about what makes a piece of media “good”: Is it age-appropriate? Educational? Creative? Calm? These simple conversations help children learn how to make thoughtful choices when they’re online or using digital tools. Please check previous messages for past videos on this important topic!

Our Table to Table collection for the student council ends on December 23rd! Thank you to all the parents who have supported this effort to address food insecurity with this organization. 

The Chess Academy and Kids Klub have concluded, and I would like to thank the PTA for making these after-school activities a success! There are no make-up classes needed. 

Student Report Cards for Marking Period 1 are available on the parent portal.

Our Equity Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th at 2:50 pm. If you plan to attend, I kindly request that you complete this form in advance so we can expect you as a visitor at the end of the day. 

We are collecting Holiday Cards and displaying them in the front area to get into the Holiday Spirit! Please send in a Holiday card or a photo of your family. Many families put us on their holiday card mailing lists. It's always nice to see past families grow over the years!
