Dear Harrison Families,

I hope this email finds everyone having had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday. It seems that the holiday season has also brought on the cold weather! This is a perfect time to remind families to ensure they send their children to school with all the necessary gear needed to stay outside and stay warm. That means hats, gloves, scarves, and so on. We strive to get outside as much as possible to provide students with the much-needed recess time during the day.

Our Holiday Boutique is this week on December 11th and 12th! The PTA asks that students bring in cash and reusable bags. This is a nice opportunity for students to experience the gift of giving. Thank you to our PTA for organizing. 

Our PTA meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, December 8th, at 7:00 p.m. Please enter through door 4 at that time.

As technology becomes an increasingly integral part of daily life, it’s more important than ever for schools and families to collaborate in supporting healthy, balanced media habits. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing short videos and tips from Common Sense Media. This week’s video focuses on parenting in a digital age. Click here for the video! We encourage families to watch along and use these topics as an opportunity to reflect on your family’s media routines and discuss responsible digital behavior with your child. These small conversations at home help reinforce the digital citizenship skills students are learning at school. Thank you to the technology department for supplying this information!
