Dear Harrison Families,

 

Welcome back, families, and thank you for surviving the Winter Snow! I hope everyone found time to enjoy it in some way.

 

Next week is Read Across America Week, and we are celebrating America’s 250th with spirit days inspired by our country. Please see the flier for information on theme days throughout the week! Tomorrow, please have your child wear Red, White, and Blue! 

 

Parent-teacher conferences will be held between March 4th and 6th. All these days will be half-day dismissals.  You can sign up for a conference through the Parent Portal until Tuesday, March 3rd, at 12:00 pm. Conferences will be on Google Meet, unless other arrangements are made with the teacher. Please sign up ASAP so teachers can properly prepare for your conversations!

 

Kindergarten registration is well underway! Thank you to all those parents who have already registered their children for school next year at Harrison! If you have a Kindergarten student who will be attending the Livingston Public Schools next year, please start the registration process! The deadline for current Livingston residents is May 15th. Please see the instructions on the website!

 

The PTA’s Nominating Committee is welcoming interest in becoming a part of the PTA Executive Board to begin in the Fall. You can find more information HERE to learn more and to submit the interest form. This is a great way to make a positive difference in the Harrison community!

 

The PTA’s next restaurant giveback is at Just Greek on March 4th. Mention Harrison when ordering in person or by phone (not online orders), and they will donate a portion of the proceeds to our school! Since it’s an early dismissal day, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy Just Greek for lunch or dinner!
