Here is the summer reading assignment for AP Language. There is a specific reading assignment, and you will be assigned an additional assessment when you return to school. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Abbott or Ms. Johnson.

Here is the summer reading assignment for English III Honors and English III General. Notice that the assignment is RECOMMENDED. 

If you cannot access this story in Common Lit, you can read it here. Please write your answers on a sheet of paper and screen shot them to my email.

Identify the correct answer for each question. You may screen shot your answers and submit them by email.

Here are the instructions for transitioning to Microsoft Teams. Because this platform allows me  topost assignments AND you can resubmit them to me, this is an ideal platform moving forward. We can also conduct class meetings and chats. 

These are the assignments for the week of April 20-24. I will continue to post notifications here, but I would like to transition to Microsoft Teams. I am attaching an instruction sheet for that as well.  You all are doing a fantastic job! Keep up the great work!

I have added another suggested reading list. These books are more contemporary, and I have divided them into fiction and nonfiction. There are some series listed here, as well some great young adult novels. If you would like a recommendation, just let me know:)

This is the definitive list of every book that has appeared on the AP Literature Exam since 1971. They are listed alphabetically, and the numbers following each title indicate the year(s) the novel was actually on the exam. If you are interested in reading some canonical (traditional) texts, this would be a perfect place to start. If you have any questions (or want a recommendation), please don't hesitate to ask.
