"Oops! You're Late" Initiative

The tardy bell rings at 8:30 AM each morning.  Students arriving at school after that time must be escorted to the office by their parent/guardian and receive a late pass to class.  Students will utilize their student identification numbers to log in to the Kiosk located at the front desk. Students will receive a printed admission pass to take to his/her classroom teacher.  Office staff will assist students that may not have their student identification numbers/cards. Our goal is to increase the student attendance rate and decrease the number of student tardies each day.

Special note

Elementary students who are chronically late or leave early without an acceptable excuse (5 unexcused absences/tardies in a 9-week grading period or 10 unexcused absences/tardies in a semester) are in violation of the school board attendance policy and will receive written notification from the school.
