Leon County School District students have an opportunity to earn industry certifications in our Career and Technical Education programs. Students who earn an industry certification that can articulate for postsecondary credit save money for tuition and fees by completing these programs in high school.  Exactly how much can be saved?  

This information is an estimate of the savings a student will receive for students who earn industry certifications that articulate for postsecondary credit.  This is an estimated cost saving to the parent before the student’s high school graduation versus the cost of acquiring such certification after high school graduation, which would include the tuition and fees associated with available postsecondary credits. Also, the student and the parents must be informed of any additional industry certifications available to the student.
