Free Summer Learning Opportunity: Freckle
All SD113A students have the opportunity to participate in an online platform called Freckle this summer! Freckle is a web-based platform that is engaging and adaptable to each student. Lessons in reading (ELA) and math are skills-based, meaning that students can practice concepts at, above, and below their assigned grade-level, depending on their individual needs as a learner. All skills presented are aligned to the Common Core State Standards with over 92,000 unique math questions available along with 1,000 fiction and non-fiction passages accessible.
Each school has access to your child's login information should it be needed during the course of the summer. Students who indicated interest in our Teacher-Directed program will receive a welcome email from their assigned teacher by Wednesday, May 29.
