]]> The School District of La Crosse offers free high quality music lessons to students in Choir, Band and Orchestra. The weekly lessons are 30 minutes and are scheduled based on availability of teaching staff. Students should choose lessons at the school they will be attending in the 24-25 school year. Taking summer lessons is recommended for all music students, but especially beginners! We will learn how to read and follow recipes. In the end, all students will go home with a handmade cookbook of all the recipes. We will also have the opportunity to spend time exploring and tending to the garden, as well as other nearby nature and plants.

Students will do a variety of activities, both indoors (play games in the gym or playing board games) and outside (such as relay races or gaga ball). Emphasis will be on working together as a team, encouraging each other and having fun over winning. This class starts right after Under construction so that students can stay for 4 hours or just join this class for two hours after construction has ended.

From frogs to flowers to airplanes, this class will give students an introduction into the art of folding paper! Jewelry Design, learning basic jewelry terms and how to design basic jewelry. ‘Shrinky Dink’ designs to incorporate into window hangings, garland and additions to their jewelry—learning how to easily apply these techniques to consumable fast food left over items that can be recycled instead of thrown. Look closely at science of why things reduce down percentages by heating up, reading about paper cranes, etc. Course will run Monday – Friday. NO Classes will be held on July 4th and 5th.
