Happy New Year and Welcome Back!
The LISD Board of Trustees and Administration would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We hope that this coming year will be seen as your best year yet for both you and your families. We will strive to provide the best education possible in the safest environment possible for our wonderful students. We welcome your support in making this happen. There are many celebrations to come as we provide the resources and support to help our students achieve their goals.
We will continue to engage our community and listen to your concerns and provide the best solutions possible. With that said, our second Town Hall for the 2024-2025 school year will be held January 15, 2025, at 5:00pm in the Lackland ISD Auditorium. All are welcome to attend and provide comments and feedback concerning district programs and services.
We also would like to invite everyone to our Annual Cowboy Breakfast which will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. in the Lackland Elementary cafeteria. Please be on the lookout for a message via Parent Square which will allow you to sign up for this exciting event. Signing up is important because it will allow our food service department to estimate how many people to expect. We hope that you will join us for a great breakfast along with games and other fun activities for our students.
Wishing all of you all the best for 2025! Go Eagles! |

Parent Square Notifications
Under General Announcements, you can select how often you want to receive notifications for posts. Select Off, Instant or Digest notifications. Off:no notifications about posts will be sent to you. Emergency Alerts and Notices will still be sent. School Alerts will still be sent if turned on.
Instant:you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification every time a notice or message is sent.
Digest:you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification once a day in the evening with all posts from that day.
The default setting is typically Digest, so that you receive all notices and post messages in one convenient notification once a day. All emergency notifications still come through instantly, and a school can override settings as needed for an urgent message. |
