Comments due by October 4 for federal grant application process
Kearney, Mo., September 30, 2024: The City of Kearney is seeking public comment on transportation grants for three proposed projects in the community:
- 19th St. Complete Street Project
- Kearney Pathways Project
- Nation Rd. Complete Street Project
Kearney is competing with other cities in the Kansas City region for federal dollars that are administered by the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC). There are over 150 transportation projects under consideration and gathering feedback from community members is a crucial part of the application process.
It will only take a few minutes to increase Kearney’s chances of being selected for grants for our projects. Public comments are due by Friday, Oct. 4. Visit MARC’s public comment webpage, click on “Kearney” and then click on each individual project to leave your feedback.
