Joplin Family YMCA's School Plus Program
The
Joplin Family YMCA’s School Plus Program is an after school care and
activity program designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for
children in elementary school. It is held on site at local elementary
schools from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 pm. There’s time
for homework and a balanced snack as well as challenging physical
activities and creative pursuits, with supervision and encouragement
from trained YMCA staff. All staff are CPR/First Aid certified and have
been through a background check. Scholarships are available based on
household size and household income. State Aid is also accepted for
those who qualify.
