Scholarships are awards of money that do not have to be repaid. Typically, scholarships are awarded based on students’ academic achievements, leadership, community service, financial need, and/or written/oral communication.
ATTENTION SENIORS
The scholarship information on this page will be updated each school year. This is only a fraction of the scholarships available to students. Most scholarship money is awarded from the college you will attend. Check the financial aid link on college websites for information on academic, departmental, and other scholarships specific to each school. Many scholarship deadlines fall before college application deadlines, so apply early! It is the responsibility of each student to request and complete any available scholarship applications.

2022-2023 Joplin Athletic Booster Club Scholarship 
*Recipient must have a parent who is a Booster Club Member
*Recipient must be a 2023 graduate of Joplin High School
*Recipient must have participated in a Joplin High School athletic program for more than one year
*Recipient must be a full-time student for the Fall 2023 semester at an accredited college or university
*Recipient must not have committed any Code of Conduct violations or have excessive referrals 
*Recipient must who not only sports leadership, but also school/community leadership
*Recipient must have a GPA of 2.5 or better
*The scholarship amount will be paid directly by the Booster Club to the Financial Aid Office of the college
*The scholarship may be used for any of the following expenses as long as the student remains enrolled:
