Mrs. Silvia Murley

Hello! My name is Mrs. Silvia Murley and I am currently the Director of Musical Instruments at Hobart High School. I began playing an instrument in the 5th grade,  from then on I've been a dedicated musician. I attended Fairview High School then I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and got my Bachelors degree in Music Education. While at SWOSU I had the opportunity to study under well respected and recognized professional musicians such as Dr. Shelley Martinson and Mr. Marc Mueller. After my time at SWOSU I student taught in Elk City under Mr. Tim Dewitt, and now here I am at Hobart High School! This year will mark my 3rd year at Hobart and I am very excited for this 2023-2024 school year!
