Pearson Course Description: Environmental Science is a year-long course designed to show the thematic connections between a variety of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, and physics. It gives students a coherent and realistic picture of the applications of a variety of scientifc concepts as they manifest in our environment. During this first semester of environmental science, students will focus on human population growth, natural resources, and ecosystem dynamics. The aim of this course to increase student knowledge of the environmental challenges of today, while continuing to cultivate scientifc critical thinking skills. Student Expectations:

Assignments: All assignments need to be turned in on time, neatly completed. No late work accepted. Assignments will include daily work, quizzes, lab activities, projects, and tests. Grading: Your grades will be weighted according to the scale below:
