Textbook: Oklahoma Adventure

Class Objective: Students will gain knowledge and
understanding of the following: The early days of
Oklahoma, geography of Oklahoma, Native American
removals to Oklahoma, early settlement, territorial
days, Oklahoma's involvement in WWI & WWII, the
coming of age in Oklahoma, significant events
and people in Oklahoma's history, and the
influences of Native Americans in Oklahoma.

Civics Syllabus

Textbook: Civics Today: Citizenship, Economics, & You

Class Objective: Students will gain knowledge and
understanding of foundations of democracy & government
foundations of American citizenship, the national government,
political parties & interest groups, state & local government,
civil & criminal law, & the economy & the individual.
