My child still has lunch money in his My School Bucks account. What will happen to that?
The money in your child’s lunch account will roll over to the next year. If they are moving from HIS to HJHS the money will move with them.

My School Bucks is sending me an automatic message that my child needs to have additional money placed in his account. Should I place money there?
If you have a negative balance, yes. If you have a low balance, consider waiting until a firm return date is established to put additional money into the account.

My child’s field trip was cancelled and I had already paid for it via My School Bucks. What are my next steps?
The HCS accounting department is assembling a list of all parents who have paid for field trips scheduled from March 13th through April 30th. Should those field trips be rescheduled, it is unlikely that a parent will need to do anything. For those field trips that cannot be rescheduled, the accounting department will seek to credit the family’s My School Bucks account, move funds from a field trip account to a student’s lunch account, or seek other remedies agreed upon by HCS and the family. Additional steps will be taken when schools can reopen and additional guidance is received from the State.
