Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns have heightened my child’s anxiety, and I would like to seek services for him/her. What should I do?
- If your child is already receiving services through our School-Based Mental Health Collaborative, you probably have contact information for his/her counselor. Use that to make your contact.
- If you have lost that contact information or if you have never seen the School-Based Mental Health counselor but believe that a personal counseling session is what your child needs, call the Mental Health Center’s ACCESS line at (256) 355-5904.
- If you would simply like to learn more about the types of services in our area, call 211.
- If your child is a danger to himself/herself or others, call 911.
- The National Suicide Hotline is 1-800-273-8255.
