The Smithville Boys Basketball Coaching Staff will be sponsoring a Biddy Ball Program for boys in grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

We will have our first organizational practice in the Smithville Middle School gym on Tuesday, October 22nd from 7-8:30 pm. At this practice players should wear appropriate clothing for practice (gym shoes, shorts, shirt, etc.) A schedule of the practices and games will be handed out that evening. The first games will begin on November 7th.

NOTE: Your son (2nd - 6th) should be present at the October 22nd practice in order to be placed on a team. If your player can’t make it, please call Jace Watts.

There will be two divisions. One division will consist of grades 2nd and 3rd the other division will be grades 4th-6th grades. The younger division will play on 9ft. rims in the Elementary. The 5th & 6th division will play on 10ft. rims. Younger divisions will only be practicing this season for the first two weeks, games will be between our older divisions (Grades 4-6) with the younger divisions practices ending on Thursday, October 31st. Younger division practices will be spent learning the fundamentals of shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense. Games for the older division will begin on November 5th and continue to November 14th.

The cost for enrolling your son in this program is $40.00, if two or more siblings in program - $25.00 each. If your son is interested in participating, please complete the bottom portion of this letter, place it in an envelope and return it with payment to the secretary at your son’s school by the end of the day on Friday, October 6th .
