Gibbons is one of 10 high school honorees chosen from 94 local high schools in the Capital District.

Riley will be honored at the CDSWOY Award Gala on August 9 at 7 p.m. at the GE Theatre at Proctors in Schenectady. Tickets for this event go on sale tomorrow, June 29 at 10 a.m. at www.proctors.org.
The virtual speaker will be Tara VanDerveer, the women’s basketball coach at Stanford (2021 national champions.) To learn more about the Capital District Sports Women of the Year program, go to www.cdswoy.com.
