The annual Galway Central School District Budget Vote and Board of Education Election will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 between the hours of 10 a.m.-8 p.m. in the Galway High School Gym, at which time polls will be open.

Galway School Budget Voter Registration – May 1, 2023
Personal registration for Galway Central School District residents who have not voted in school or town elections during the past four years will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the District Clerk’s Office located within the Galway High School. Residents may also register with their local Board of Elections office throughout the year.

Absentee Ballots Available
Absentee ballots will be available to registered voters of the Galway Central School District who will not be able to vote on Election Day – May 16, 2023. An absentee ballot application must be submitted before you can obtain a ballot. Galway CSD Board of Education – Vacancies and Nominating Petitions
There are two vacancies on the Galway Central School District Board of Education. These vacancies are for four-year terms of office effective July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2027. These seats are currently held by Linda Jackowski and Dennis Schaperjahn.
Petitions are available to Galway School residents who are interested in being a candidate for a seat on the Board of Education on Election Day, May 16, 2023.
