Congratulations Entrepreneur Students

Congratulations to students in Mrs. Sitts' entrepreneurship class who placed first and third in the Junior Achievement (JA) Titan CEO Challenge.

Team Super Cellular, with Annelise Altamirano and Alexander Gotzen-Berg placed first. Team Brian, with Raven Alfieri and Brian Brink placed third. They competed with over 160 students from the capital district in a simulation-based program in which high school students take on the role of business CEOs in the phone industry. They put their economic knowledge to the test by
evaluating revenues and expenses, making management decisions, weighing corporate social responsibility, and more.

Through this competition, students experienced how an organization makes decisions, analyzes outcomes, and strategizes next steps.

Because the students placed first and third in the competition, they will receive a generous monetary gift from Junior Achievement.
