Yes, (if that is the downtown Veneta route?), for a couple reasons. We needed an additional driver to drive our “roving” activity van that will deliver door to door. Also, we had a hard time finding safe places for a bus to park and sit for 15 minutes within the city. For folks in that area, that can’t make it to VES, they could call a school and be added to our door to door service if needed.-Gary

You can email Renee Ota at rota@fernridge.k12.or.us, or call Elmira High School at 541-935-8200 and asked to be transferred to her phone extension. The turnaround will not be quick here however, as they are not coming in right now other than to make meals at VES. If you know how much is on your account, and need this cash ASAP, you can bring a current balance statement from the food service website to the District Office. Call 541-935-2253 and leave a message letting us know when you are coming down, and the amount, and I will leave you an envelope with the amount in it.-Gary
