Today, students at Little Ridge Intermediate School were thrilled to welcome ABC 33/40 Chief Meteorologist James Spann! Mr. Spann shared his passion for weather science and taught students about tornado safety, including how to identify different cloud types and the importance of seeking shelter in small, interior rooms during severe storms.
He emphasized the importance of being prepared and staying informed during severe weather events. Mr. Spann's visit was both educational and inspiring, encouraging our students to stay curious and always be weather-aware.
