Breakfast with Abe
To honor the 205th anniversary of the birth of our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, The Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania sponsored a "Breakfast with Abe" at the Adams County Tech Prep Center. Fifteen high school students from each of the six Adams County High Schools attended the breakfast with Abe on Thursday, March 27th. The Adams County Tech / Prep Culinary Arts students under the direction of Chef David Haynes prepared the breakfast. Mr. Jim Getty of Gettysburg portrayed Lincoln and talked to the students about current news events. The students had an opportunity to question the "President.
The above Fairfield Area High School students were selected by their social studies teachers, Mrs. Weigel and Mr. Shaffer, to represent Fairfield.
