Derrick Harner's photograph "On Hallowed Ground" was selected as the first place winner in the Congressional Art Competition for Congressman's Perry district. As a result of this honor, Derrick's piece will hang in the nation's Capitol for a period of one year. A special reception will be held on Wednesday, June 26 in Washington D. C. honoring all winners from the many Congressional Districts. This further exemplifies the artistic excellence at Fairfield Area School District - the Arts are truly Alive in our district.
