2014 Family Literacy Spirit Week
Family Literacy Spirit Week

Thursday: A very colorful day! Tye Dyed students and staff everywhere!!!
Wednesday: Students & staff have stepped back in time. Walking down the hallways you may run into Madonna and Elvis look-alikes, prairie girls & cowboys, poodle skirts & leather jackets, hippies & flower children, and who remembers "Where's the Beef"?
Tuesday: Pirates & princesses have taken over the Elementary School. Superintendent Chain, showing his pirate spirit, was a guest speaker on the morning announcements. He delivered his important message to the students, "But I'm here to tell you (arrrrhh)---the best treasure in the world----the treasure worth sailing through the roughest storm is the treasure you get when you open a book and read." He also invited the students and their families to Family Literacy Night on Thursday, April 3rd. Check back throughout the week for more photos.
