1st Grader Mady Calore has been selected as runner-up in the Martin Luther King, Jr Poster contest put on by Scholastic Art. As runner-up winner, Mady's entry will be displayed in the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Bookstore in Washington DC. Mady's art teacher, Mrs. Swift, will receive a $50 American Express gift card. Mrs. Swift plans to donate the gift card to go towards Fairfield Elementary School art supplies.
