SEMHS Choirs

Welcome to SEMHS Choir's blog ! We have two

choir classes at South El Monte, an advanced

choir called Chamber Choir and a beginning group

called Aeolian Choir. When we combine them for

public concerts and festivals, they become our

Festival Choir. We sing several concerts on our 

campus each year, along with District festivals,

and performances in our community, including

Knotts Berry Farm and other venues. We sing

all styes of music from the swing era to the

latest Broadway show songs, and many pieces in

Spanish. Our choirs have won awards at the

Fullerton College Jazz Festival, and other festivals

around Southern California.
