Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor is necessary for enrollment. This is a continuation of Music Tech courses 1-3, depending upon level of completion by the student.
These courses are designed to allow intermediate and advanced music technology students to further their exploration of music concepts and apply them to real-world applications of music technology using digital audio and multimedia applications. GarageBand, Audacity, GoogleDocs, iPhoto, iMovie, and Noteflight are studied. Students learn advanced skills necessary to orchestrate a commercial, develop film scoring skills, create a podcast, work with live musicians to mic and record, and maintain a listening journal.
