Spectrum (recommended)

  • Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households

  • Charter will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely. Charter will continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, high-speed broadband program to eligible low-income households delivering speeds of 30 Mbps

  • Charter will open its Wi-Fi hotspots across our footprint for public use

  • Spectrum does not have data caps or hidden fees

  • Spectrum will not terminate service for residential or small business customers who face difficult economic circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Similarly, Charter will not charge late fees for those customers facing difficult economic circumstances related to the pandemic

Verizon:

  • Our Unlimited plans include Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, allowing you to connect multiple devices, such as laptops and tablets.

  • Additional 15GB of high-speed data: for wireless consumer and small business customers, this data will be automatically applied with no customer action necessary

  • Through April 30, Verizon will offer unlimited domestic calling to customers. Eligible customers will receive a text message to inform them of the offer. No action is necessary; the offer will automatically be added to eligible accounts.

  • Unlimited calling will be included for mobile and landline calls.

 

AT&T

  • Waive domestic wireless plan overage charges for data, voice or text for residential or small business wireless customers incurred because of economic hardship related to the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Keep our public Wi-Fi hotspots open for anyone who needs them.

 

Cricket

  • Giving new and existing customers an extra 10 GB of data, temporarily, on select smartphone plans to keep you connected. After two bill cycles, your extra 10 GB will be removed.

  • Capped $30/mo and $40/mo. Voice and Data Plans: We’re temporarily enabling mobile hotspot (must have a capable smartphone*). You can use your extra 10GB as a mobile hotspot or smartphone data.

  • Unlimited Cricket Core Plans**: If you’re on the Unlimited Cricket Core plan and don’t have the mobile hotspot feature, we’re temporarily enabling it with 10 GB of data (must have a capable smartphone*). If you do have the mobile hotspot feature, we’re adding 10 GB of mobile hotspot data.

  • Unlimited Cricket More Plans: If you’re on the Cricket More plan, we’re adding the 10 GB data to the 15 GB you already get, so you’ll have 25 GBs for the next two billing cycles (must have a capable smartphone*).

  • *Not all phones support mobile hotspot/tethering. Check the user guide that came with your phone or visit the manufacturer’s website for more information.

 

T-Mobile

  • ALL current T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers as of March 13, 2020, who have legacy plans without unlimited high-speed data will get unlimited smartphone data for the next 60 days (excluding roaming). 

  • Starting March 20, 2020, providing T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers on smartphone plans with hotspot data an additional 20GB of smartphone mobile hotspot (10GB per bill cycle for the next 60 days) for each voice line. (T-Mobile Connect excluded).

 

Sprint

  • Providing Unlimited data for 60 days to customers with metered data plans (effective 3/18)

  • Giving 20 GB of free mobile hotspot to customers with hotspot-capable devices (effective 3/18)

  • Waiving per-minute toll charges for international long-distance calls from the U.S. to CDC- defined Level 3 countries (effective 3/17)
