All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be enrolled in a mathematics course. Seniors are strongly encouraged to take a mathematics class. Freshmen will be assigned on the basis of the eighth grade course grade and the eighth grade teacher recommendation or special recommendation of the high school teacher.

A scientific calculator is required for Algebra and Geometry. Students who want to purchase a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator may do so. Graphing calculators are required for Algebra-Trig, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
