Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and a smooth transition into the beginning of the school year. My name is Melissa Wnek and I am honored to be one of the school social workers at JMMS.

I joined the JMMS team in January 2021. Prior to working at JMMS, I worked as clinician at Yale Child Study Center and a social worker at Yale New Haven Hospital. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, obtained my school certification in 2012, and License in Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2014. I am very excited to be able to continue to work with the students and families at JMMS. Below is my contact information if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
