Adult Woodshop Class

Although only three classes in, Dunellen's new adult woodshop class could only be considered a huge success.  After being introduced to some concepts and skills in their homes via Mr. Shimko's YouTube channel, ten Dunellen community members have taken on the task of building their own garden bench.  This newly enrolled class of ten adults meet in the Dunellen woodshop, where new skills are learned, building on the week before. 

 

Thanks to The Dunellen Arts & Cultural Commission and the Dunellen Recreation Department in conjunction with the Dunellen board of Education to make this new initiative possible.  Special thanks as well to John Shimko for running the program.
