In September of 2016, William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School updated the school’s mission to better reflect our goals as educators, and the path we believe is best suited to bring success to our students. This new mission statement will guide the work we do at Davies over the next ten years.

In addition to our new mission statement, we have crafted five guiding philosophy statements. Each of the five philosophies has goals attached, which are used to determine whether or not we are living up to our philosophy statements and are, ultimately, accomplishing our mission.

Our new mission statement was developed between Administration and Department Coordinators before being turned over to all Davies’ employees for feedback and ultimate approval. With the input of our community, we have strived to create a statement that reflects all that we do at Davies to educate and care for our students.
