Statement of Non-Discrimination
The School Board of Charlotte County does not discriminate (including anti-Semitism [as defined in Bylaw 0100]) on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation, gender status, or gender identity), recognized disability, pregnancy, marital status, age (except as authorized by law), religion, military status, ancestry, or genetic information which are classes protected by State and/or Federal law (collectively, “protected classes”) in its programs and activities, including employment. The School Board also ensures equal access for Boy Scouts of America and other identified patriotic youth groups, as required by 34 C.F.R. §108 (Boy Scouts Act). The School Board also ensures equal access for Boy Scouts of America and other identified patriotic youth groups, as required by 34 C.F.R. §108 (Boy Scouts Act). (School Board Policy 1122, 3122, 4122,) The School Board does not discriminate on the basis of sex (including sexual orientation or gender identity), in its education programs or activities, and is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, and its implementing regulations, not to discriminate in such a manner. The requirement not to discriminate in its education program or activity extends to admission and employment. The Board is committed to maintaining an education and work environment that is free from discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment (School Board Policy 2266). Reports of Harassment, whether informal or formal, may be made directly to the School Principal, Assistant Principal or any employee of Charlotte County Public Schools. Reports of Harassment may also be directly referred to one of the School District’s Compliance Officers.

Veterans' Information Charlotte Technical College's full-time programs are approved for education and training by the Veteran's State Approval Agency. Veterans and Dependents of Disabled or Deceased Veterans who plan to attend full-time programs at CTC should contact Student Service located in Building A.
The District also ensures that a lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to participation in CTE programs within the district's secondary and postsecondary institutions. (Rule 6A-6.0908 Equal Access for English Language Learners to Programs Other Than English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
