From the Superintendent: Importance of daily attendance

Dear District 99 Families,
I hope the start of the school year has been a return to a welcomed routine, as well as a great experience so far for our new students and families.
I would like to bring to your attention the importance of students attending school on a daily basis. As of today — four days into the school year — we have an average of 94.5% of students attending school.
It is extremely important that we make sure that attendance is not taken for granted and that we prioritize school on a daily basis. Together, we can achieve more — and our students, your children, can be the benefactors of the IMPACT our staff can have on their outcomes.
Thank you,
Dr. Aldo Calderin
Superintendent
