Second graders in Ms. Nevarez's dual language had fun on their field trips to the Museum of Science and Industry and Tony's Fresh Market. The class benefited from real-world experiences which contribute to their understanding of the world and enjoyed having connections between what is happening in the classroom and the real word. This multi-sensory learning experience creates enthusiasm for a subject that is hard to replicate through other media!
