☀️ BEATING THE HEAT AND THE SUMMER SLIDE: SUMMER SCHOOL 2024 COMES TO AN END 🏫

For the past three weeks, students from across Cicero District 99 took advantage of Summer School where they engaged in academic, physical and artistic activities. 

Summer School is about extending learning from the past school year but is also about enjoying the company of peers old and new! It's about promoting learning outside of the normal school schedule and avoiding as much summer learning loss as possible.

With chances to develop new skills, make new friends, learn from new teachers and promote educational independence, our District hopes that all students who participated in #SummerSchool2024 had a wonderful time and that many new students see the benefits of the program and sign up next year!

☀️ COMBATIR EL CALOR Y LA PÉRDIDA DE APRENDIZAJE VERANIEGO: LA ESCUELA DE VERANO 2024 LLEGA A SU FIN 🏫

Durante las últimas tres semanas, los estudiantes de todo el Distrito 99 de Cicero aprovecharon la Escuela de Verano, donde participaron en actividades académicas, físicas y artísticas.

La Escuela de Verano se trata de extender el aprendizaje del año escolar pasado, pero también de disfrutar de la compañía de compañeros, tanto antiguos como nuevos. ¡Se trata de promover el aprendizaje fuera del horario escolar normal y evitar en la medida de lo posible la pérdida de aprendizaje durante el verano!

Con oportunidades para desarrollar nuevas habilidades, hacer nuevos amigos, aprender de nuevos maestros y promover la independencia educativa, nuestro Distrito espera que todos los estudiantes que participaron en la #EscuelaDeVerano2024 hayan tenido un tiempo maravilloso y que muchos nuevos estudiantes vean los beneficios del programa y se inscriban el próximo año.
