👏 FROM STUDENTS TO EDUCATORS: NEW CAREERS BEGIN IN CICERO DISTRICT 99 🎉

We had an amazing time this week at our New Staff Orientation, where we welcomed our newest team members with open arms. Every year before school starts, we take the time to ensure our new hires are settled in and accustomed to our wonderful district.

✨ The highlight? A fantastic bus tour around the Town of Cicero, where we visited historic landmarks and all of our schools, showcasing the rich heritage and vibrant community we are proud to be part of. 

🍕 The orientation concluded with a delicious lunch from Freddy's Pizza, generously provided by our teachers' union — because nothing says "Cicero" quite like Freddy's!

We are thrilled to share that 11 of our new staff members are alumni of our very own Unity Junior High School. In a full-circle moment, one of them is returning to work under the principal they had as a student. How amazing is that?

👏 DE ESTUDIANTES A EDUCADORES: NUEVAS CARRERAS COMIENZAN EN EL DISTRITO 99 DE CICERO 🎉

Tuvimos una semana increíble en nuestra Orientación para Nuevos Empleados, donde recibimos a nuestros nuevos integrantes con los brazos abiertos. Cada año, antes de que comience la escuela, nos tomamos el tiempo para asegurarnos de que nuestros nuevos empleados se sientan cómodos y familiarizados con nuestro maravilloso distrito.

✨ ¿El punto culminante? Un fantástico recorrido en autobús por el Town of Cicero, donde visitamos lugares históricos y todas nuestras escuelas, mostrando el rico patrimonio y la vibrante comunidad de la que estamos orgullosos de ser parte.

🍕 La orientación concluyó con un delicioso almuerzo de Freddy's Pizza, generosamente proporcionado por nuestro sindicato de maestros, porque nada dice "Cicero" como Freddy's.

Estamos emocionados de compartir que 11 de nuestros nuevos empleados son exalumnos de nuestra propia Unity Junior High School. En un momento de círculo completo, uno de ellos regresa a trabajar bajo el director que tuvo como estudiante. ¿Qué tan increíble es eso?
