Last Wednesday, the boys and girls from Unity's cross country teams ran their final races of the season at the West Suburban Middle School Conference Meet at Summit Park District, battling it out against dozens of runners from neighboring schools including Heritage Middle School (Summit), Lincoln Middle School (Berwyn), Heritage Middle School (Berwyn), Roosevelt Middle School (Bellwood), Freedom Middle School (Berwyn) and Stevenson Middle School (Melrose Park).

Though Unity didn't bring home any trophies, many runners ended their seasons with personal best times for the 2-mile race, preparing them for the competition ahead either next year in eighth grade or at the high-school level!
