My name is Dr. Larry Suarez and I am excited to be the Literacy Instructional Coach at Charlotte High School! I graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and my Masters of School Administration. I earned my Doctorate Degree in Education from University of South Carolina in Colombia, SC.

I have worked in many different roles in education: classroom teacher, instructional coach, school administrator, district administrator, and adult education. My most recent position prior to coming to Charlotte High School was as the ESE Program Specialist at a high school in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Throughout my career, my goal has always been based off of the idea that all students deserve the best, highest quality education and educational environment possible, while obtaining skills that will help them gain knowledge that will allow them to grow and develop into people who are better equipped to meet their goals as well as whatever tasks they may face in the real-world. I want the people I work with to develop a love of learning and become lifelong learners who can tackle whatever comes their way to the highest of the ability.

I am certified by the Florida Department of Education in these areas: Reading K-12, Educational Leadership, Elementary Education K-6, Social Science 6-12, Exceptional Student Education K-12, English for Speakers of Other Languages, English 6-12, Business Education 6-12, Marketing 6-12, and Prekindergarten/Primary Education age 3-grade 3
