17 Redhawk senior student-athletes sign to play at college level

The Central Square School District celebrated more than a dozen senior student-athletes who have committed to play one or more sports at the collegiate level beginning in the fall.

In total, 17 Redhawks signed their letter of intent during a ceremony at Paul V. Moore High School to honor them and their families.

CSSD Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Jamie Grimshaw introduced each athlete to the gathered crowd, which included families, friends, coaches, teachers and supporters. Grimshaw applauded their hard work, leadership and years of dedication to Central Square sports, and noted how few student-athletes earn the distinction to play at the next level.
