The Central Square School District recognized nearly two dozen retirees during a heartfelt ceremony June 9, celebrating a remarkable 600-plus years of combined service to the district.
The event, held in the Paul V. Moore High School cafeteria during the June Board of Education meeting, honored 25 staff members who have dedicated their careers to serving generations of students across the district. Each retiree — whether present in person or recognized in absentia — was celebrated by district administrators with personal stories, kind reflections and gratitude for their years of commitment to Central Square school district.
Those able to join us received applause, handshakes from the Board of Education and a small gift in appreciation of their service. Superintendent Thomas J. Colabufo shared memories of the retiring staff, emphasizing the deep impact they have made on the school community.
