Hqppy birthday Pamela Johnson

The Calhoun JV Gold team played their final district game of the season versus the Bay City Blackcats on Thursday night. The Crabs came away with a dominant win 42-14 to claim the District Title! The JV Gold team was led offensively by Elijah Loney who had 13 carries for 131 yards and 1 touchdown; Billy Woody had 14 carries for 80 yards and 3 touchdowns, Billy also went two for two passing for 56 yards and a touchdown; JoJo Baldera had 2 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown; Drayn Garza had 6 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown; The defense was led by Bobby Castillo who had an interception and return of 50 yards; The JV Gold finished their season 7-2-1 and 4-0-1 in district and as DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Thank you to all of CHS staff and Administration for all of the support all season! Go CRABS!

Student Council is hosting their 2nd blood drive of the year on Wednesday, November 20th. If you are 16 or older and would like to save lives and work toward earning your red cord at graduation, sign up on Google Classroom or use the QR code on the posters in the hallway. If you are 16, you must have a permission slip in order to donate. You can pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Anderson in E206. 

Attention Seniors who signed up for Texas College Bridge!  Have you completed this?  You only have Six Weeks left this semester to get your CCMR point and have the chance to earn Early-Out or Late-In in the Spring. Email Mrs. Cardwell or Mrs. Kohutek with any questions.  

Students - Do you want to make the 2nd Nine Weeks Attendance Incentive?  Come to school!  You need a 96% overall attendance rate AND no more than 3 absences in each of your classes for the 2nd Nine Weeks. 

Students - This is a reminder to check your email everyday.  Delete messages not needed and read and respond to important ones. 

At this time, Please release all of the students who are attending the Jurassic Park Lecture in Victoria to go to the cafeteria at this time. They should take all of their things with them.
