The student council meeting has been cancelled this week.
We will be having a meeting after school on November 7th from 4-5. If you are interested or have been in any of the school performances for theatre, we invite you to attend.
The Calhoun JV Gold team played their 4th district game versus the El Campo Ricebirds in El Campo last Thursday night. The Crabs came away with a hard fought victory 28-21! The Gold Squad was led offensively by Jayce Sanchez who had 4 carries for 130 and 2 touchdowns; Billy Woody had 20 carries for 106 yards and 1 touchdown; Elijah Loney had 10 Carries for 81 yards and 1 touchdown; Jojo Baldera had a great night blocking on the perimeter; The defense was led by Brandon Guevara who had an interception; Kody Judd had a forced fumble and Mato Sanchez had a fumble recovery; This brings the JV Gold’s record 6-2-1 on the season and 3-0-1 in district play. The Gold squad plays their final game of the season this week at home versus Bay City, come out and support the Crabs.
November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Diabetes can be either genetic or a result of your diet. Diabetes affects your body's ability to produce and regulate insulin. Let's wear blue on Wednesday Nov 6th to support our students who live with diabetes.
Seniors! Good news! Ceiling Tile Sales have been extended to November 6th. We had a lot of requests, so we are now taking orders until Wednesday, Nov. 6th. Please see GC for more details.
Students - Do you want to make the 2nd Nine Weeks Attendance Incentive? Come to school! You need a 96% overall attendance rate AND no more than 3 absences in each of your classes for the 2nd Nine Weeks.
Students - This is a reminder to check your email everyday. Delete messages not needed and read and respond to important ones.
