Seniors...it's time to vote for your Prom 2025 theme. Please check your Class of 2025 Google Classroom page to vote for your preferred theme for Calhoun's 2025 Prom in May.
Here are the accomplishments from Saturdays ROTC Competition in Round Rock, TX. 1st place in the Physical Fitness Challenge (1000 Meter Relay) Gunner Evans, Colten Evans, Ezra Pena, Evelynn Scroggins, Ke'shawn Morrison, Logyn Middaugh, Addelynn Ivy, Nora Rodriguez, Alajandra Cordova, Jordan Moreno. 2nd place in the Physical Fitness Challenge (1 mile run)-Gunner Evans, Colton Evans, Evelynn Scroggins, and Addelynn Ivy. 9th place out of 20 school in the Color Guard Competition in Kyle TX-Gunner Evans, Colton Evans, Jeremiah Mayorga, Ezra Pena and Addelynn Ivy.
With Homecoming this week, Interact will be selling gold sunglasses and black and gold beads to help increase school spirit. All proceeds will go towards the Golden Crescent Casa, an association helping kids in foster care to find their voice. Sunglasses will be $2 and beads will be 2 or $1.
This week is homecoming week Thursday is PJ Thursday-catching some ZZZZ’s before we steal that win. Friday is Gold out Friday-Calhoun is going for the Gold.
We have 30 students who still have not turned in their registration paperwork. Chromebook access will not be turned on until all forms are turned in. We will start giving lunch detentions also for anyone who has not turned their paperwork in by this Friday.
Tickets for the Homecoming dance are on sale NOW! You can purchase from Coach Spencer or Mrs. Anderson or online at GoFan.com. Look for more info in Google Classroom.
Attention Seniors, Jostens will be on campus taking your announcement and Cap & Gown orders today. You will need to bring your first payment to place your order. Extra packets are in the main office if you need one. If you have not yet purchased your class ring, you can order your ring at this time as well. Design your ring at www.jostens.com, print your order form, and bring it with your other forms.
